The party vibe has got into the islanders
blood and there are several other venues
around Koh Phangan that are staged to go
off in different areas so as not to disturb one
locality. All are outdoor parties and a lot of
effort goes into making each one a unique
party experience that only Koh Phangan
could give.

Half Moon Festival, Baan Tai

The  Half Moon Festival goes off twice a
month and it’s a massive event. It happens
a week before and a week after the Full
Moon Party (FMP) in a brilliantly decked
out Baan Tai jungle with residents DJ
Tripical (All Records-TH) / DJ PingPunk /
DJ aka / Boyonic (BackYard). Expect good
progressive house and quality progressive
psy-trance mixed live by the Harmony
Team. Special guests, world famous DJs
and artists perform live acts on occasions.
Ticket price 500 Baht includes FREE Audio

Black Moon Party, Baan Tai

Black Moon Culture is where the Black
Moon Posse host one of the island’s best
outdoor parties on Baan Tai beach; with
amazing décor, a super sandy venue, driving
progressive beats, underground trance and
DJs Bang, Leung and Jonny.

2011 Dates: 1st June, 30th July, 28th
August, 27th September, 26th October, 25th

Jungle Experience, Baan Tai

Deep in the jungle near Baan Tai, the
Jungle Experience party features the best
of electronic beats, progressive house,
minimal and progressive tech through to
psytrance. The cosy venue is a magical
flower garden criss-crossing a river, plenty
of areas to sit down and chill-out complete
with superb day-glo fluorescent decorations
and laser lighting effects. Arrive early to
relax, meet people and enjoy the music with
professional international world-class DJs.
Tickets only 300 Baht per person which
includes a free drink. Open from 9pm to
8am. FREE entry before 11pm.

Baan Sabai After Party, Baan Tai 

As the  Full Moon,  Half Moon and  Black
Moon parties wind down,  Baan Sabai on
Baan Tai beach kicks into gear and goes on
until the early hours next morning.


Club 9, Haad Rin 

Koh Phangan’s largest indoor music venue,
restaurant and bar hosting full moon warmups,
world-renowned DJs and live acts! Club
9’s premium bar offers cheap beers, custom
cocktails and more, with an extensive
Western menu for those craving proper

Drop In Club Pool/Foam Party
Haad Rin

Every month 2 days before Full Moon is the
biggest most crazy pool party inside Haad
Rin town. Drop In Club Resort is the perfect
venue; tons of balconies and dancing zones
centered around a cascading pool. FREE
warm-up barbecue. Keep an eye out for the
Foam Parties splashing off throughout the
month and the Full Moon frenzy.


DJ Beach Bar @ Holiday Beach Resort

Every Thursday from 10pm minimal tech

Guy’s Bar, Haad Thian

Every Friday, a free and funky jungle venue.
A real old school feel with Resident DJs
playing an upfront set for a happy, sexy

Pirate Bar - Moon Set Party

The Moon Set Party is usually 3 days before
and after FMP and is situated in a small cove
at the south end of Haad Chao Phao. The
setting is amazing with a backdrop of shear
rock cliffs and DJs set in the rocks.
